Una has taught the powerful healing dynamics of art, color, light and sound for more than 25 years in Europe, Canada and in the United States, inspiring medical and holistic professionals, psychologists, artists and people committed to psychospiritual growth, to explore playful pathways to creative self-realization, communication and healing of body, mind, soul.
Communicating her unique spiritual signature of love, Una’s pioneering healing art has touched and transformed the lives of many for more than 30 years worldwide through: teaching workshops at universities, holistic centers, lecturing and painting soul portraits at holistic centers and expos, appearances on radio and TVs, articles about her work in French, German and English (most recently in the “Maui Vision Magazine”) healing CDs, and especially through her transformational healing soul portraits.
Born and raised in Vienna, Una was immersed in the world of art since early childhood, as her mother was a curator for the Museum of Modern Art. Inspired by great living artists and especially by Leonardo Da Vinci, Una developed a passion for painting. During family excursions into the country side Una discovered her desire to learn about people’s personality by drawing their face. In Austria it was common to engage conversations with people that were strangers. “Uniting with the person”, Una could perceive and paint their soul and tell them the story of their life.
Una’s
vivid connection with nature inspired her to write and
illustrate fairy tales.
For her diploma in art Una has
written a thesis called “The significance of the
visions of William Blake, Reading Blake’s channeled
poems offered Una explanations for her own spiritual
experiences. A challenging period in her life guided her
to be trained in, art therapy, color-light therapy,
subtle energy healing, psychosynthesis and Reiki.
She worked as an art therapist in
the psychiatric and medical field in France. Una studied
Buddhism, Anthroposophy and Sufism. After many
retreats with her Sufi teacher Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan
in France Una received her Sufi name UNA, meaning art
in Sanskrit. This life transforming event ignited her
commitment to develop her spiritual art. Through Pir’s
enlightening teaching Una experienced the radiance of
the creative Divine Light as a tangible loving reality
within all of her being.
Una pioneered Transpersonal Art Therapy in French prisons for 7 peaceful years , accompanying prisoners out the darkness of the soul into the light of understanding their true identity and role in life. Psychiatrists, nurses, prison guards and prisoners created together colorful bridges to tolerance and peace, learning to accept each other in their light and shadow, in their differences and uniqueness, discovering new possibilities for change.
Motivated by her commitment to her
spiritual art, her collaboration with the French
Association of Transpersonal Psychology, and challenging
prisoners Una invented a new method of healing that she
calls HEALING SOUL PORTRAITS. This accelerated healing
process through transformational soul portraits allowed
Una to guide patients from confusion and alienation into
the light of clarity. Revealing their inner light and
beauty , unrealized talents, Una helped them to
discover and express their true identity, their soul’s
callings and purpose in life.
Una believes strongly in the
healing power of the arts and in our unique innate gifts
to create transformation and peace within ourselves and
on the planet.
Invited by the Association of
Transpersonal Psychology, by universities to offer
lectures and workshops in Canada, New Mexico and
California, Una started to travel frequently between the
U.S.A. and Europe., where she taught Transpersonal Art
Therapy. During one of her trips where she met Guy
Coggins, the inventor of the aura camera. Recognizing
her unique celestially guided artistic mediumship and
healing abilities, Guy promoted her work everywhere.
Una met and married her twin flame
in California . The passing of her beloved husband and
the inspiring experience of his ever loving celestial
presence has increased her passion to reveal a
universe of Divine Love, Joy, Peace and Bliss through
her channeled Healing Portraits, bringing exquisite
messages from angels, guides, and departed loved ones
through her celestially guided healing art.
Totally one with the world of light, Una’s beloved
husband is a living proof of the heavenly splendor and
wholeness we are all embodying on the Other Side and of
the loving presence of our celestial friends and guides
that prevail to eternity. Una’s work is about raising
the human consciousness to know and experience Divine
Love.
Her aunt introduced her to the world of the angels.
Realizing that no matter what is
our life’s experience, social condition etc., we all
have one thing in common: our innate desire to remember
who we truly are as a Divine Being and to fulfill our
Divine mission in life.
The profound transformations

Soul Portraits have inspired me to write a book called
“PORTRAITS OF LIGHT BY UNA WHITE”, soon to be finished.
